SOL VISTA was brought on to identify efficiency opportunities for this upper-upscale, full-service hotel located in West Hollywood. We performed an energy and operational assessment before developing a list of utility saving opportunities with estimated paybacks below the asset manager's low threshold. Catering to demanding celebrities and jetsetters, the hotel insisted that all upgrades maintain its stylish aesthetic and cause minimal guest impact during implementation.
SOL VISTA's sitework team served as the owner's representative overseeing implementation of both supply and demand-side measures, including:
- smaller projects, such as, installation of networked guestroom thermostats, lighting upgrades, and water fixture retrofits;
- electricity and gas procurement strategies; and
- ongoing building performance management.
