Kim Morisset came to Boulder in 1992 from Bexley, Ohio. She learned to ski at age 6, and like many people was drawn to the mountains of Colorado. While attending Front Range Community College and Colorado University, Kim worked as a summer landscaper in Boulder.
She started guiding raft tours in 1994 on the Arkansas River and in 1997 moved to Grand County where she worked for Silver Creek Ski Area in lift operations. In 1998 Kim went back to guiding raft tours at Silver Creek. She currently is at Headwaters Golf Course as the landscape specialist and the Granby Ranch Adventure Coordinator.
